CINEMA 4D Studio by MAXON is all about 3D modelling, animation and rendering. There are various versions of Cinema 4D with effects meant for specific industries such as broadcast motion graphics. Cinema 4D actually started out as a program for the Amiga back in the early 90s, but soon was ported to both Mac and Windows PC.

Working on animations and modeling in Cinema4D is mostly a single threaded process, so you need a CPU with the fastest clock speed possible. Rendering will use as many cores as you can afford and performance will scale accordingly. 16GB to 32GB of RAM is a good amount to start but if you plan on working with large projects 64GB would be best.
